In The Saint Nick Of Time

Wal-Mart is packed and the isles are tight
I picked a bad time on Christmas Eve night
The babysitter needs to be home by eight
It’s seven forty-five and I am running late
An Xbox 360 with 3 games and a big bow
I pushed them to the car in the cold wet snow
My vehicle is so cold I should get remote start
Well I got home in time and made a pop tart
I paid the sitter and wrapped the last gifts
The kids fell asleep as I crossed of my list
Every year is the same it always end fine
I made it through in the old St. Nick of time
